A “torpedo” or “salamander” heater generates heat, then uses a fan to push the heated air out of the unit and directly into the area requiring heat. Torpedo heaters are a simple form of portable heater and only require an electrical outlet and clean kerosene fuel which you provide. Do NOT run these heaters unattended .
These Kerosene units output 70k btu’s of heat.
REMEMBER- these units are only legal for use in construction and similar applications and can not be used in a facility where people are currently living.
