This is THE trencher for our rocky Northwest Connecticut soil for smaller jobs. It will dig a 4″ wide trench to 18″ deep, and throws the soil to one side so you can easily re-fill when you’re done. Small Drain lines, drain trenches, burying utility lines and seasonal water lines…..all perfect jobs for this trencher. It is possible to load this smaller unit into a low van, but pickup trucks can be difficult (and are a “load at you own risk” item) and 7’ of open space is needed. Trailers are the easiest way to move any or our trenchers, and if needed we can rent you a trailer for an additional $10 (with rental) to ease transportation (2″ ball hitch required).
