Our mechanical one-person earth drill puts the power of our two-man earth drill in the hands of one operator. This auger excels for “small” depth digging (under 24″) such as shallower fences or prepping for planting of rows of trees or shrubs
The operation of this unit only requires one person, a second person nearby is handy for help loading and unloading if you are putting it in the bed of a truck. Transportation on a trailer is always easiest as the unit is almost 7′ long.
The large pneumatic tires on this unit make the unit easy to maneuver around the jobsite whether it be hard ground, loose soil or grass. All of the operator controls are conveniently located at the handlebars and the handlebars can pivot to different positions to allow for normal digging as well as close-up digging allowing you to dig right up next to obstacles such as walls or fences.
